Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children’s Registered Manager to join our team for our Ofsted properties in Chester, Cheshire. This role is for solo children’s placements and as the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our care facility and ensuring the highest quality of care for the children in our care. This is a leadership role that requires strong management skills, a deep understanding of children in care, and the ability to provide guidance and support to our dedicated staff.

Duties
- Supervise and manage a team of care professionals, including nurses and caregivers
- Develop and implement care plans for residents based on their individual needs
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide specialized care, such as dementia care or home care services
- Conduct regular assessments of residents’ health and wellbeing
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of residents’ medical histories and treatments
- Handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise in a calm and efficient manner
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for both residents and staff
Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Extensive experience in senior care, including assisted living and dementia care
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of relevant regulations
- Ability to assess residents’ needs and develop appropriate care plans
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Compassion and empathy towards seniors and their families
